The past few years’ have highlighted the importance of collaboration and unity across the care industry, which has often been left fragmented with organisations unwilling to share best practice and information with others. UK Care Week is an event (formerly Dementia, Care & Nursing Home expo) which encourages collaboration, innovation, and growth, by uniting the care community for one week this summer kickstarting with collaborative online content across 4-5 July, followed by the live event at NEC Birmingham on 6-7 July.

The partnership aligns with UK Care Week’s collaborative approach to tackling key issues in social care and providing a collective voice for change.

TalkCare is available through both the Google Play store and Apple App store with a sole goal to connect the amazing care industry and the people that work within it together. The App works the same as any other social media platform and once downloaded and joined, you will have access to thousands of people that make up the industry. Whether you are kitchen staff, a cleaner, care or support staff, managers, leaders, owners, nurses or doctors, this app will connect you with likeminded individuals that will share information with you.

TalkCare ‘talkers’ will shout about the amazing stories that are happening around the world and in their workplace, they will share information, successes, challenges, practice, new regulations and guidelines and even new research. The app works by driving content and joining people together to improve understanding of any condition or illness. It is the members app and unlike any other social media platform, you will only ever read information that is about the care industry.  Using the app, you can:
