Christl worked for 22 years at the Siemens AG in the corporate research and technology as developer semiconductor technology and circuit design, until she joined the corporate research department at Infineon Technologies AG as senior staff engineer for emerging technologies and project manager for smart textiles. 6 years later Christl Lauterbach was so enthusiastic about the possibilities of sensor technology that she decided to start her own business. 2005 Christl Lauterbach founded Future-Shape GmbH and is the Managing Director since then. She has over 200 patents and pending patents and wrote more than 120 scientific publications. Christl is a member of the science advisory board at ITA-Institut of the University RWTH Aachen and member of VDI, DKE AAL Group.
