Jane qualified as a dental hygienist from the Eastman Dental Institute in 1995. She holds a BSc in Oral Health Promotion which highlighted the need for oral health promotion in care homes. The course enabled Jane to reflect on the oral health status and develop strategies for care staff and residents in care homes. Because of her experience she understands the challenges staff face with daily mouth care. Jane now dedicates her time training caregivers and healthcare professionals.
