I’m the Co-founder and COO at Florence.

I studied Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh and then joined the British Army, as Infantry Officer for the Coldstream Guards, serving both in the UK and overseas including Iraq.

I then worked in financial services for the likes of HSBC & Deutsche Bank, doing various roles in Sales, Risk and Project Management.

I co-founded and managed National Care Force (NCF) & Startup Leadership Program (SLP); then did some volunteering work in Social Housing & Care prior to founding Florence with Charles Armitage in 2016.

I was a trustee for Streatham Youth & Community Trust for 5 years; and I am a member & “pledger” of Founders Pledge, a civil rights & social action organisation; as well as a NED at Glebe Housing Association Ltd.

I’m the proud father to 3 boys aged 10, 12 and 14. They keep me occupied and entertained!
