Hannah has worked in the social care sector for over 20 years. My entire career has been built on working in social care. I took a year out to save money for Uni and worked as a carer for a Local Authority, within 3 months I was part of their Rapid Response Unit, delivering end of life care at home for people with less than a week to live. Safe to say, hitting the ground running was not a choice but essential and I was quickly exposed extremely emotive circumstances, working under pressure to deliver high quality support and care; essentially helping people to die well. The rest is history as they say, and I worked my way up the domiciliary care ladder to running a successful SME. Over the years I have obtained mutiple qualifications in various holistic therapies and coaching and am now combining these two passions to offer support for staff wellbeing within the sector, as well as working with QCS to maintain and develop policies and procedures for the social care industry.
