Liz Blacklock
Liz has almost 40 years of experience within the Health and Social Care. Starting her career as a Registered Nurse, Liz designed her career path out via surgery palliative and community care.
Liz concluded her NHS role as a Practice Nurse 9 years ago to open an award-winning domiciliary care provision, Lapis Care, in Hampshire. The aim was to prove that Care could be delivered ethically and to a high standard.
Having been the CEO of the National Association of Care and Support Workers (NACAS) since 2021, Liz and the team have also launched the ‘Voluntary Care Professional Register’ with the aim to raise the profile of Care Professionals.
On a personal level, Liz lives in Hampshire and is married with 2 grown up children (one with LD) and a much-loved Cockapoo called Alfie.
